During its long lifespan, Belfi has developed important projects in practically every specialization of engineering, such as earthworks, highways, airports, tunnels, architectural works, dams, reservoirs, bridges, sanitary works, industrial installations and maritime and port works.

In these last, maritime and port works, Belfi begun acquiring experience from the start, in the early fifties, having since then constructed more than 60 important projects. Considering the difficult conditions prevailing in Chile for this type of works, such as the lack of protected waters, the seafloor and seismic activity, this amount of works imply an invaluable experience in all kind of maritime projects.
