Characteristics

Construction of first step of Port Complex, with 3 mooring sites of 14m deep (sites 1 & 2) and 12m deep (site 3) for 50,000 DWT design ships. Later it is added site  4, for 180m long ships. Also includes the construction of a 200m long breakwater, 54,000 m2 maritime level space, 70,000 m2 remote storage level space (both with prefabricated concrete paving blocks), port access ways, railroads, Port administration building, warehouses, supply and erection of 35 ton crane, complementary works, etc. The port with his first three initial sites will have capacity for 2 millions ton/year to loading copper cathodes, containers and general cargo.
