Characteristics

Mechanized wharf for coal unloading and storage, founded on driven steel piles anchored to the rock, with an access bridge of 192 m long by 7 m wide and an unloading platform of 82 m long by 20 m wide, that supports two unloading cranes of 600 ton/hr. each. The port may berth ships up to 60,000 DWT. Construction of all the necessary infrastructure for the coal storage and handling such as level spaces, internal roads, laboratories, control rooms, store houses, environmental control system, diesel storage reservoir and others.
