BELFI has normally participated in important works that involve tunnels and cavern which are necessary to develop projects of infrastructure of road systems, hydraulics and mining.

"Cavern Excavation and Concrete for Expansion Project to 20.000 TMSPD". Construction of the entire necessary infrastructure to allow the increasing of copper mineral treatment capacity in the mine concentrator plant. CODELCO Chile - División Andina. The pictures shows two stages of Floating Caverns construction, 18m wide, 18m high y 40m length.

The project "Obras Subterráneas en Loma Larga" for Empresa de Obras Sanitarias de Valparaiso (Esval), consider the construction of tunnels for sewage conduction, Caverns for bar chambers and elevation pumps, in addition to loading chamber, Submarine Outlet and cargo funicular.
